Helping Venues Collection move over to Wood Hotel Key Cards
About Venues Collection
The Venues Collection is a group of six contemporary and historic events and conference spaces with accommodation.
As part of their Future First Charter, a framework that’s focused on sustainability, they approached The Card Network about swapping from their plastic key cards to Wood Hotel Key Cards.
Part of a commitment to eco-friendly practices
The Venues Collection welcome thousands of guests through their doors every year and are committed to providing exceptional experiences whilst minimising their carbon footprint.
The Venues Collection chose bamboo as the material for their RFID Hotel Key Cards for its sustainable credentials. Bamboo is the most eco-friendly option, given how quickly it grows and regenerates.
Making The Swap
The first property to make the switch was Eastwood Hall in Nottingham, which boasts 36 modern and stylish spaces that can accommodate up to 400 guests.
The other locations within the Group are now following suit and the cards are making quite an impact on guests. We are also now looking at replacing their traditional name badges with an eco-friendly wood alternative.
